I originally worked for Farmer Machine in 1981 while the company manufactured solar hot water heaters. The operation moved to California in 1983. I proudly served in the U.S. Navy and saw a lot of action off the coast of Libya in 1985. After military service, I joined Mactavish Machine Manufacturing, building Stage I tobacco processing equipment. In 1999, I rejoined the Farmer Machine team (there were 3 of us). I am proud to say I have been involved with the growth (now 28 of us) and the expansion Farmer Machine has gone through. I am a mentor to high school students involved with the First Robotics Program, which is also sponsored by Farmer Machine Company.
